This Is The Life
Morgan
“This Is The Life” paints Vallastaar’s capital as a place that’s overstimulating, morally messy, and strangely comforting at the same time. Morgan describes a city drenched in neon, rain, smoke, surveillance, vice, and constant motion, where every street corner feels alive with temptation and hidden intent. The lyrics jump between seductive nightlife imagery and darker undertones — prostitution, paranoia, manipulative social dynamics, and secrets buried beneath the city’s endless glow. They’re just part of the atmosphere people live inside every day.
The repeated line “This is the life” turns the song into less of a warning and more of an acceptance of Vallastaar’s sensory overload and emotional intensity. The “synthesized scream” layered into the chorus gives the song a moment of emotional cracking beneath the polished cyberpunk aesthetic, like someone overwhelmed but still addicted to the energy surrounding them. Rather than focusing on fear or rebellion, the track captures the feeling of being consumed by the city’s chaos while still genuinely loving it.
